Based on the hit UK television series of the same name, “Mistresses” is a provocative and thrilling drama about the scandalous lives of a sexy and sassy group of four girlfriends, each on her own path to self-discovery.
Savannah (“Savi”) is a successful career woman working toward the next phase in her life — both professionally and personally — bucking for partner at the law firm where she works whilealso trying to start a family with her husband, Harry. They’ve been trying to get pregnant for some time, but when their fertility issues begin to take center stage, Savi finds herself attracted to her flirtatious colleague, Dominic.
Savi’s free-spirited and capricious baby sister, Josslyn, couldn’t be more different, living single, serial dating and partying, and regularly leaning on her big sister. A real estate agent, Josslyn has no interest in a committed, long-term relationship.
Their common best friend, April, is a recent widow and mother of a ten-year-old daughter. In the effort to rebuild her life and move forward, April opens a shop for home decorating. After she receives her late husband’s lucrative life insurance check, she begins getting prankphone calls and tells her closest girlfriends that she’s convinced her husband is still alive.
Karen is a therapist with her own thriving practice, reconnecting with the girls after her involvement in a complicated relationship with a wealthy, married patient goes too far; she was having an affair with a terminally ill client to whom she had prescribed morphine. After his death, the man’s distraught son, Sam, confides in a guilt-ridden Karen,unaware of her role in his father’s life. The grieving widow, Elizabeth Grey (recurring guest star Penelope Ann Miller ["The Artist"]), has no idea her late husband had a romance with another woman.
These four friends find support and guidance with each other as they brave their turbulent journeys and life’s storms ofexcitement, secrecy and betrayal, all the while bound by the complex relationships they’ve created.

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards are just around the corner and the event is loaded with celebrities set to perform and present at the highly anticipated award ceremony. Currently, names including Cee-Lo Green, Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Kelly Rowland, Hayden Panettiere, Kid Rock,Chloe Grace Moretz, Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, Carly Rae Jepsen, Alyssa Milano, Jenny McCarthy, Emmy Rossum, Stana Katic, Gabriel Mann, Jennifer Nettles, PSY, Sky Blu, Jennifer Morrison, Florida Georgia Line, Wiz Khalifa, Alanis Morisette and more are confirmed to present the coveted awards at the live event.

This year’s event will also feature recording legend Prince who will be on hand to perform and accept the Billboard Icon Award, which pays tribute to his unique journey and history of accomplishments in the music industry. Madonna will also take the stage to accept the Top Touring Artist award, honoring the highest-grossing concert touring act of the year.

The award finalists for the ceremony were based on fan interactions with music, including album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, touring, streaming and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, VEVO, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music. These measurements were tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Entertainment and Next Big Sound. The awards are based on the reporting period of March 12, 2012 through March 10, 2013.

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards show will air live from Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena SUNDAY, MAY 19 (8:00–11:00 pm, ET) on the ABC Television Network, sponsored by Chevrolet, Las Vegas, Samsung Galaxy S® 4 and Buffalo David Bitton, and executive produced by Don Mischer.

The Charmed star looked lovely as she tried out a new look with a preppy outfit for an appearance on Extra.

The actress was promoting Mistresses and was joined by her co-stars Rochelle Aytes, Jes Macallan, Yunjin Kim at The Grove in West Hollywood for filming.

Alyssa, 40, chose a cute and colourful creation in the form of a bright orange top with white collar and trim.

The top was tucked into a white skater skirt which showed off Alyssa’s long legs and she teamed it with matching strappy sandals.

She also wore a pair of oversized sunglasses and completed her look by styling her caramel coloured locks into a retro quiff.

Despite her glowing appearance, Alyssa in fact must have been exhausted as she revealed she had been up since 3am that morning.

She tweeted on Monday: ‘Have to be up at 3am tomorrow for a big day of press for @Mistresses_ABC with my girls @jesmacallan, @rochelleaytes and #yunjinkim!’

It wasn’t just a busy day for Alyssa as she also had a jam-packed evening, flocking to the audience of Dancing With The Stars

Mistresses, which is a US adaptation of the UK drama of the same name, is scheduled to begin airing on ABC on June 3.

It has been a long time coming for Alyssa, who has already been filming the series for over a year.

The star has been balancing the role with raising Milo, her son with husband David Bugliari, who will turn two in August.

Alyssa Milano is every bit the sexy starlet in ABC’s new series, Mistresses.

The actress, 40, who plays Savi Davis, starts out a preview clip of the show seductively flirting with Brett Tucker’s character, Harry Davis, who is presumably married to someone else.

But when the scene shifts to the bedroom, viewers come to find out that Savi and Harry are actually married, and their meet-up was only part of a roleplaying game to spice things up during their quest to get pregnant.

“I should probably be on top,” Tucker, 40, says while the two are tossing around on the bed. “Since you’re ovulating, we probably shouldn’t waste the good stuff.”

Explains Milano to PEOPLE: “Every woman trying to get pregnant knows the difference between ‘trying’ sex and regular sex. And if you’ve been trying for a long enough time, it gets more and more difficult to keep it fun and exciting. This scene is about Savi’s attempt to keep her sex life with her husband alive using roleplaying. Unfortunately, Harry has his eye on the fertility prize and the mood gets kind of ruined.”

Mistresses premieres June 3 (10 p.m. ET) on ABC.
